Former Guernsey brewery may become housing development
- Published
A former Guernsey brewery could become a residential development if a multimillion-pound plan to convert it is approved.
The owners of the Vauxlaurens site on St Julian's Avenue have submitted plans for a development costing about £10m.
The plans would see the site demolished except for the main brewery building, with its arched entrance.
The brewery was built in 1873 and operations ceased in 2008 when Randalls Brewery moved to St George's Esplanade.
If the work goes ahead the main building will be converted and new buildings erected to provide 37 residential units, a gym and underground parking.
