Waitrose gets Channel Islands green light

Supermarket firm Waitrose has been given permission by competition authorities to open several Channel Island stores in 2011.
Jersey Regulatory Authority decided that letting in Waitrose would not stifle competition.
Waitrose is buying Safeway on the Rohais and Checkers at Admiral Park in Guernsey and three shops in Jersey.
Waitrose welcomed getting the final decision and said it will create up to 100 jobs in each island.
