More than 60 cruise liners are expected to visit Guernsey during 2010

Guernsey's tourist numbers are down by up to 5,000 after three cruise liners decided not to visit due to bad weather.

The passengers from the Crown Princess, the Black Watch and the Saga Ruby were expected to visit the island and take part in tours.

However, strong winds and choppy seas saw all three cancel their visit and move on to calmer seas.

More than 60 cruise ships are due to visit Guernsey this year.
