The Guernsey Border Agency has been taking part in a joint maritime exercise with French customs officials.
The initiative saw them monitor boat movements around the islands and French coast over the bank holiday weekend.
Mark de Garis, Head of Cross Border Crime at the agency, said "Joint patrols were undertaken over four days.
"It was part of an ongoing commitment to combat potential drug trafficking and people trafficking offences utilising private vessels."
