Love Guernsey cards created to encourage visitors

A new initiative to advertise Guernsey to visitors has been set up.

Love Guernsey cards have been designed for visitors to pick up at the airport and harbour as they leave and give to friends.

The credit card-sized cards unfold to show pictures of the island, a map and contact information for VisitGuernsey.

Chris Elliott, from the States of Guernsey, said: "They're small, but big enough to tell a little about the island."

"Guernsey people used to be able to take Ambassador packs with them when they travelled off-island.

"These cards are the modern equivalent."
