A Guernsey businessman has been given 180 hours of community service for employing three illegal immigrants at his Harbour View takeaway.
Chi Hung Wong, 47, of Becquet Road, St Peter Port, admitted he knew they were working illegally in the island.
They were sent back to Malaysia after their arrest during a search of the property by customs officials in March.
The Royal Court confiscated £268,556 related to the crime when the sentence was passed on Thursday.
