Guernsey's drink-drive figures remain steady
- Published
Guernsey drink-drive figures remained steady as 123 people were charged with the offence during 2010, which was exactly the same as the previous year.
The figures were released by Guernsey Police after the end of its "Don't be a Loser" drink-drive campaign.
Ch Insp Nigel Taylor said his officers would continue to perform random checks to ensure any offences were dealt with.
He said although "one is too many" the steady nature of the figures was "a good sign".
Ch Insp Taylor said: "We try to balance the education of motorists with the enforcement side of things."
