Man rescued from St Martin's Point in Guernsey

Emergency services in Guernsey have rescued a man during a major operation on the island's south coast.
The cliff rescue team, the coastguard, police and an ambulance were sent to St Martin's Point after reports the man had got into difficulty.
The inshore lifeboat was also put on standby when the alarm was raised at 1740 GMT on Monday.
The rescue operation was completed by 2000 GMT. The man was not thought to be seriously injured.
The ambulance service said Monday was a busy day.
It responded to a total of 14 emergencies in a 12-hour period, in addition to staff having to carry out 26 non-emergency transfers of patients.
