Guernsey Taxi Owners Federation is 'under threat'
- Published
The future of the Guernsey Taxi Owners' Federation, the body that looks after the interest of the island's taxi drivers, is under threat.
Members decided to suspend the committee on Thursday due to a lack of support.
It follows a decision in January by the members to review the way the group is run.
Whether the group should continue and what direction it should take is due to be discussed in a meeting in May.
Letters are due to be sent to all registered taxi drivers in the island inviting them to that meeting.
