Guernsey Police investigate travel fraud case
- Published
Guernsey Police is working with Europol and Interpol to investigate people fraudulently booking travel to and from the island.
All three agencies are investigating the use of stolen credit cards or bank details to book air or sea travel.
It follows the arrest and then release on police bail of three Latvians, two males and one female, in the island.
The agencies are working together to trace those behind the distribution of the stolen details.
Guernsey Police said those people were believed to be in Eastern Europe.
Officers advised anyone travelling to and from Guernsey to ensure they booked their tickets from a reputable company.
