Guernsey Police have appealed for information about a series of thefts from cars and acts of vandalism.

The crimes all occurred over the space of a week, with four being committed over the Spring Bank Holiday.

Police say paint was sprayed on the rear doors of a white van on the Rue de Tertre in the Vale and a green Jeep was damaged at Round Chimney in St Sampson.

Meanwhile a car bonnet was dented and the windscreen of another was smashed in Victoria Road, St Peter Port.

Overnight on Thursday 2 June, a silver scooter was taken from the boot of a car in the Delancey Park car park, while a red Piaggio scooter was taken from Rue De La Carriere in St Sampson to the road behind the Half Way bus stop, where it had parts removed.

Guernsey Police asked anyone with information about these incidents to contact them or to use the Crimestoppers line.
