Sark stargazing event to boost tourism

A stargazing festival is being held in Sark next month.

Organisers hope the event, between 21-23 October, will boost tourism on the island, which has been given a Dark Sky Award for its nght time visibility.

Attractions planned include an inflatable planetarium and night carriage rides.

Annie Dachinger, chairwoman of the Sark Astronomy Society, said the award was a fantastic achievement for the island.
