Date is set for election of a member of education board

A date has been set for the election of a member of Guernsey's education board.

The States of Guernsey will choose a new member for the department during its meeting on 26 October.

The elected person will replace Deputy Matt Fallaize on the board and will see out the remainder of his term before the next election in 2012.

Deputy Fallaize had his resignation debated by the States in October. He chose to go against members' wishes for him to stay.
