A Guernsey fishing boat adrift and heading towards rocks was saved by a private boat.
The rudder and stern gear of the 23ft vessel called 3 J's had been fouled by fishing gear and she was drifting near Crevichon, to the west of Jethou.
Guernsey's relief lifeboat was despatched, but in the meantime private boat Prowler established a tow.
The lifeboat escorted both vessels back to St Peter Port Harbour arriving at about 12:50 GMT.
