Guernsey ambulance rescue stranded boys from rocks

Two boys had to be rescued from rocks off Guernsey's northern coast after their dinghy became swamped.

The St John Ambulance inshore rescue came to aid of the two 12-year-old brothers in rough conditions off L'Islet on Tuesday.

The two boys were fishing off the Route Du Picquerel when their tied up dinghy became flooded, leaving them stranded.

An ambulance spokesman said the boys were cold and frightened after their ordeal, but otherwise unharmed.
