Guernsey Gas MD calls for a natural gas pipeline
- Published
The managing director of Guernsey Gas has called for the construction of a natural gas pipeline to the island.
Paul Garlick said a pipeline could help cut gas tariffs and energy costs.
Guernsey currently imports liquid petroleum gas, but a proposed energy plan due to be debated by the States calls for a review of the construction of a natural gas pipeline.
Mr Garlick said he was enthusiastic about the review, and said it would be "a huge asset and advantage".
