All UK sailings will be made to and from Poole while engineers assess the berth

Condor Ferries sailing will continue to be relocated to Poole while investigations are carried out on a ferry berth in Weymouth.

Sailings from the Channel Islands to the UK will continue to Poole until Monday 27 February.

Last week concerns were raised about the berth's structural integrity and sailings were moved for the weekend.

Condor Ferries said it would contact affected passengers and was offering help in changing travel plans.

Captain Fran Collins, operations director, said: "We have taken the decision to move all sailings to Poole for a further week to give our customers as much notice as possible while investigations are undertaken into the condition of the berth in Weymouth.

"Condor Ferries and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council are committed to working in close cooperation during the investigations."
