Guernsey charity to work with Barnardo's

  • Published

A Guernsey charity has entered into an agreement with Barnardo's - the UK's largest children's charity - to open a centre in the island.

Young People Guernsey, which was formed in 2010, aims to support 11-16 year olds at the facility in St Peter Port.

Jane St Pier, the charity's chairwoman, said young islanders would be able to use the new centre in whichever way they pleased.

She said information, advice and guidance would be on offer.
