The public have been invited to help shape the future development of Guernsey's harbours.
The Public Services Department started consulting with port users last week as part of its work to produce a Ports Master Plan.
It aims to set out what development and new facilities may be required within the next 25 years.
The public drop-in will be held between 16:00 and 20:00 on Thursday at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre.
Public Services Minister Paul Luxon said it was important for islanders to be engaged in the development of the Ports Master Plan.
He said: "We have had some very constructive discussions already and this is now an opportunity for islanders to find out more about some of the issues being addressed and ideas that are being put forward.
"We still want to hear from more islanders, so the Master Plan can reflect their views."
More than 98% of goods arrive or leave through either St Peter Port or St Sampson's Harbours and as well as freight operations both provide for other commercial activities and marine leisure facilities.
Large areas of the land controlled by St Peter Port Harbour is also used to provide parking for commuters and shoppers.
