More than 600 people have registered to vote in the election for the disability champion for the States of Guernsey.
The candidates are Deputies John Gollop, Lester Queripel and Arrun Wilkie and the votes must be made by the end of 1 June.
The job involves liaising with the island's government and with the Guernsey Disability Alliance.
Shelaine Green, chairwoman, urged everyone who had registered to make sure they cast their vote.
Those eligible to vote are disabled islanders, their close family members, carers, staff and volunteers of disability charities and health and social care professionals.
The post was first created in March 2009 and Jane Stephens was appointed but she had to stand down after she was not re-elected in April's general election.
