Guernsey Viaer Marchi National Trust event hit by rain
- Published
A fund-raising event for the National Trust in Guernsey has been called off because the ground is waterlogged by heavy rain.
The Viaer Marchi had been due to take place at Saumarez Park on Monday night, but organisers decided to postpone it, possibly to August.
The evening usually draws a large crowd of locals and visitors for food, drink and dancing.
Last year's event raised more than £30,000 for the National Trust.
