Guernsey school internet services reviewed

A review into internet provision for schools and colleges in Guernsey is being launched this week.

It follows concern that young people's education is suffering because of inadequate broadband access.

Education Minister Robert Sillars said the whole education system relied on equivalent internet services to those used by a single UK primary school.

He said it caused significant problems for teachers and students and needed to be addressed.
