Beau Sejour creche closure to be revisited

Moves to close the creche at Guernsey's Beau Sejour Leisure Centre are being revisited after anger from parents.

The Culture and Leisure Department's plan to close the facility due to high costs was met by protests.

Minister Mike O'Hara said following feedback they were exploring the possibility of continuing the service through a pre-booked system.

However, he warned the need to reduce costs remained at the loss making States-run centre.
