Guernsey's marine ambulance The Flying Christine III is back in service after a mechanical fault.

The St John's Marine Ambulance had been out of action for four months.

It is the only marine ambulance of its kind in the British Isles and responds to emergencies across the Bailiwick.

Jon Beausire, St John Ambulance and Rescue Service chief officer, thanked the crews and vessels who provided contingent support in the meantime.
