Poor weather conditions have forced Condor Liberation's sailings between the UK and the Channel Islands to be cancelled on Tuesday.

Winds are expected to exceed speeds of 60mph and the Met Office has issued a strong wind warning in the English Channel on the day of the sailings.

Condor Ferries has apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.

The Condor Liberation struck the quayside at St Peter Port in windy conditions earlier this year.

The new £50m ferry serving Poole from the Channel Islands was also disrupted in April due to a fault with one of its engines.

The cancelled services are:

11:30 BST Poole to Guernsey

15:00 BST Guernsey to Jersey

17:00 BST Jersey to Guernsey

18:30 BST Guernsey to Poole
