Channel Islands to UK ferries cancelled as Storm Barney hits

The wave height is forecast to be outside the legal operating limits for high speed craft such as the Condor Liberation
Fast ferry services between the Channel Islands and Poole have been cancelled or rescheduled due to adverse weather caused by Storm Barney.
Condor Ferries cancelled Wednesday's sailings, external as "wave heights are currently forecast to exceed our legal operating limits".
A service is planned early on Thursday in a "brief break in the weather".
Storm Barney, the UK's second named storm, is affecting parts of southern England with gusts in excess of 70mph.
Sailings to St Malo will also be rescheduled to allow the Condor Rapide an extra sailing between the islands.
Jersey Met has issued a gale warning, external for Tuesday evening.
