More than 300 children and their families have come up with ideas for how Jersey should celebrate Children's Day this year.

They include a live music event for older children at Howard Davis Park on 3 July and a fun day at Millbrook Park.

Children's Day was set up following the publication of the Care Inquiry as a way to remember the past and look to the future.

This year will be first time people can celebrate together after coronavirus.

Families will be invited to Millbrook park from 09:30 to 12:00 BST and to Howard Davis from 14:00 to 18:00 for live music.

All children will also be able to visit Jersey Heritage sites for free.
