Guernsey Charity GO secures new home on Southside

The Guernsey charity Giving Opportunities (GO) has secured a new home on the Southside of the Bridge.
The charity focuses on providing training and support to individuals in the community to help them acquire the skills they need to get into work.
They hope to complete the move from their old premises on the Northside of the Bridge by the end of December, with a view to opening in January.
General manager Chris Murphy said they were delighted to have secured it.
"We are delighted to have secured these modern premises, which will allow us to train more people and equip them with the skills they need to succeed," he said.
"We will continue improving our product range to serve our loyal client base. Staying on the Bridge is great news, offering excellent parking facilities for customers and easy public transport links for our trainees and staff."
It is hoped the new facility would allow the charity to increase the number of trainees they accept.
The charity said their trainees come from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and conditions such as autism. It also assists ex-offenders and those who are educationally disadvantaged.
