A popular summer festival in the Channel Islands has been cancelled.

The organisers of Sarkfest, which was planned to launch in July, said the decision had been taken partly due to damage caused by Storm Ciaran.

They added that the cancellation of the annual music and entertainment event was made with "much regret and disappointment".

Refunds will be provided for people who have already bought tickets, and are expected to take several weeks.
