Guernsey: Thousands of tax returns still to be submitted

Seventy per cent of tax returns have been completed online said Guernsey's Revenue Service

About 14,000 tax returns for 2022 still need to be submitted, Guernsey's Revenue Service has said.

The service, which deals with tax returns, said more than 19,000 personal tax returns for 2022 had been submitted, 70% of them online.

The deadline to put them in is the end of February.

A mix of existing and recently retired staff, together with some tax consultants are being used to get through the backlog, said the States.
