A public consultation on the future management of nature and farming in Alderney has been extended by a week.

The proposed Nature and Agriculture Strategy aims to guide future plans on issues including food production and the management of natural resources.

The States of Alderney said "numerous responses" had been received both during public drop-ins and online.

However, it said people had "reverted to emails", and asked those to use its online form instead.

All feedback will be considered by the General Services Committee before the report is submitted, the States said.

The consultation is now due to close on 14 March.
