Three heritage sites across Guernsey are set to reopen for the spring.

Castle Cornet, Fort Grey and the German Naval Signals HQ will reopen to the public from Wednesday.

The Lieutenant-Governor Lt-General Richard Cripwell will fire the first noon-day gun of the year.

Helen Glencross, head of Heritage Services, said members of the public could attend to mark the start of "what will hopefully be a successful summer".

She said: "We have seen a very positive start to the year at Guernsey Museum and we hope that we see that trend continue at our other sites through the summer.

"We are excited to have a wonderful programme of exhibitions, displays and special events across our four sites in 2024."

The States said the sites would stay open until 3 November.
