Islanders from different backgrounds have come together in Guernsey to celebrate the Festival of Colours.
Early celebrations for Holi took place at Cobo Community Centre on Saturday, with traditional dance, food and drink.
Holi will be celebrated on Monday 25 March by the Indian community, marking the start of spring and the victory of good over evil.
Organiser Raj Singh said the celebration played an important role in bringing people together in Guernsey.
Members of the Indian community performed a short play set to music to explain the origins of the festival, showing the victory of the god Vishnu over Hiranyakashipu.
Organiser Vishal Lalwani said: "It's all about unity and diversity, we've got people from different cultures here.
"India is a very diverse culture, people speak different languages and it's these festivals that unite us."
