Guernsey Gardens said it would donate the English oak trees to Guernsey, Herm, Sark and Alderney

Three English oak trees are to be planted in Alderney.

The trees were gifted by Guernsey Gardens as it celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The organisation has donated 50 trees across the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Alderney's trees will be planted at The Alderney Peace Garden, The Longis Nature Reserve and The Alderney Community Woodland with a community dedication later.

It will take place on Monday at 11:00 BST in The Alderney Peace Garden.
