Self-service post office in Isle of Man pub

A self-service post office kiosk has been installed in an Isle of Man pub after the company failed to find a new postmaster for the area.

Dennis and Do Gelling, who had run Crosby Post Office since 1964, retired last September.

Isle of Man Post Office had hoped to find a replacement postmaster but said there were no suitable applicants.

The Pay and Post kiosk, in the Crosby Hotel, allows residents to post items, pay bills and buy stamps.

It is the first kiosk to be installed outside an Isle of Man Post Office.

Several were put into Regent Street Post Office, in Douglas, last summer.
