An injured man has been rescued by Ramsey lifeboat and taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury.
The lifeboat was called out after the man fell down a stairwell on the Heavy Lift Vessel Svanen.
He was transferred to the lifeboat on a stretcher by the vessels crane before being taken to Nobles hospital.
A spokesman for the RNLI said it was a busy weekend for lifeboat volunteers who were called out to emergencies twice in a matter of hours.
The other callout was to aid a crew member with an eye injury on a tug boat anchored in Ramsey harbour.
