Anglers in Isle of Man lifeboat cliff rescue

The Isle of Man coast guard was called out on Sunday to rescue two anglers from a cliff on the Calf of Man.

It happened at 16:30 (BST) just minutes after the end of the annual raft racing event in the south of the island.

The crew from the RNLI Atlantic 85 lifeboat from Port Erin assisted in the rescue of two men from a cliff face near Cow Harbour.

An RNLI spokesman said the anglers were "shaken but in good health" after becoming stuck on a ledge.
