Thousands of bikers attended the traditional Ramsey sprint in the north of the Isle of Man.

The sprint, open to anyone who has a motorbike, sees bikers from all over the world compete over a strip of promenade almost a mile long.

The event ran from 1000 BST until to 1700 while police closed roads around the Mooragh Promenade.

It was held on a non-racing day in the TT schedule to provide a focus for the 35,000 visiting fans.
