Lloyds Bank announces 16 job losses in the Isle of Man
- Published
Lloyds Banking Group has announced the loss of 16 jobs at its operations on the Isle of Man.
The reduction in staff is part of its 2011 Strategic Review - when the group announced it was cutting 15,000 jobs across the business.
The Isle of Man job losses would not disrupt customer service for residents, Lloyds said.
A spokesperson said: "Lloyds is committed to working through the changes carefully and sensitively."
In total, the group announced 1,080 job losses across the UK and Crown Dependencies with a further 310 staff being outsourced.
The Unite Union said it will oppose the job losses.
