Zac Hall has announced he will stand down from the House of Keys ahead of September's general election.

In a statement issued the 39-year-old pilot, who represents Onchan, said he he made his decision after considerable thought and family discussions.

He said it had been "an honour and a privilege" to serve his constituents since being elected in 2011.

He is the second politician from Onchan to quit this month, after Peter Karran decided not to stand for re-election.

Mr Hall also served as a member of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture between 2014 and 2015.
