Two motorcyclists killed in separate crashes at the TT Races on the Isle of Man died from multiple injuries, inquests have heard.
Former TT winner Ian Bell 58, of Bedlington, Northumberland, died in a crash during a sidecar race on 10 June.
Later that day, Andrew Soar 32, of Loughborough, Leicestershire, was killed during the senior TT race.
The inquests of both men were adjourned until a date yet to be fixed at Douglas Court House.
Coroner John Needham said in both cases the cause of death had been "massive blunt force trauma" to the head, neck and chest.
Mr Bell died after a crash at Ballaspur on the TT course while Mr Soar died in a crash at Keppel Gate.
