Search back on for new postmaster to take on services in Port Erin
- Published
A search to find people interested in running a village post office in the south of the Isle of Man has restarted for the second time in six months.
Port Erin's current sub postmaster had tendered his resignation in April, then agreed to stay on in May, before deciding to step down again.
The Isle of Man Post Office is now seeking a replacement to take on the service for a year from March.
Chairman Stu Peters MHK said this would limit the risk of a "break in service".
The current postmaster has run counter and parcel collection services at the sub-post office on Church Road for 19 years.
People interest in running post, counter and bill payments services in the village have until 24 November to respond.
