The first Manx Christmas coin to feature King Charles III has been released.

The Isle of Man Post Office has released the £2 piece, which depicts a nativity scene based on a stained glass window at Kirk Christ Church in Rushen.

The coin features the words Merry Christmas alongside its Manx translation Nollick Ghennal.

Vicar of Rushen Joe Heaton said it was a "tribute" to the church's history and captured "the spirit of the season".

He said he was "delighted to share this special piece with the community, celebrating the festive season and the rich heritage of the Isle of Man".
