Jersey wedding webcam broadcast for groom's parents
- Published
A couple from Jersey are broadcasting their wedding over the internet.
Hannah Staddon and Duncan Gray are getting married at Le Don Hilton in St Ouen's Bay later.
But because of ill health, the groom's parents are now unable to travel from their home in Scotland for the event.
Rather than move the date of the wedding, a webcam will be used to broadcast the ceremony so Mr Gray's parents can be part of the big day.
The online broadcast is having to be done through Jersey Telecom's mobile broadband service as the 18th Century Le Don Hilton has no electricity supply or phone line.
Commonly known as the White House, the property is owned by the National Trust for Jersey.
