Jersey lifeboat crew save stricken yacht

A lifeboat crew rescued sailors on a yacht which was in danger of being blown onto rocks near St Helier.

A rope was wrapped around the propeller of the yacht, so the St Helier inshore lifeboat crew towed the boat into the harbour on Sunday.

The offshore lifeboat was called out on Monday to help a local motor boat with three people on board.

Its main engine had failed to restart after a trip and the lifeboat towed it back in.
