Companies are invited to bid for Jersey's bus service
- Published
Companies are being asked to submit a tender for the bus service contract in Jersey.
The current contract is held by Connex Jersey Ltd, which runs out at the end of 2012.
Transport and technical services are looking for 'expressions of interest' from companies who would like to be considered.
They need to get their bids in for the contract, which starts in 2013, by Friday 10 December.
Transport and technical services want to ensure a seamless transition to the new contract, so want submissions by Friday 10 December, about two years before the new contract would begin.
They want a company to provide and operate all services on both the public and schools bus network.
The contract will be for at least five years.
