Mr Syvret, 45, had been jailed for 10 weeks by magistrate Bridget Shaw.
He was found guilty in the magistrates court after he left the island for six months while facing data protection and motoring offences.
He has been granted bail after making an application in Jersey's Royal Court earlier.
He was fined a total of £4,200 and ordered to pay £10,000 in prosecution costs for the data protection breach.
