Financial crime officer becomes new Jersey police chief

A leading financial crime police officer has officially taken up his post as head of the States of Jersey police service.
Mike Bowron is the new Chief of Police, replacing David Warcup who stepped down after two years as the acting officer.
Mr Bowron was previously a commissioner at the City of London Police.
He set up the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and has been the Association of Chief Police Officers' lead officer on financial crime.
