People in Jersey will soon be able to hear the BBC's national services on a digital radio.
The Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) service is expected to launch in the island in June.
It is expected the service will start after work has been completed on the Les Platons transmitter.
Local radio services will not be available on the DAB transmitter and it will not replace the existing FM and MW services, it will run alongside them.
The roll-out to Jersey is part of the BBC's plan to increase coverage of DAB to at least 92% of the population.
