Extra Jersey buses standing by if needed this weekend

The bus company in Jersey could put on extra services this bank holiday weekend if there is enough demand.
Connex said it ran 17 relief services over the Easter break because of the high demand.
The sunshine last weekend meant bus routes to St Ouen's Bay, St Brelade's Bay and Corbiere were particularly busy.
Connex said it was not expecting the forthcoming bank holiday weekend to be as busy.
But it said it would be keeping an eye on the passenger numbers and standing by to provide more services if they were needed.
Eric Le Roux from Connex said it aimed to increase capacity to cater for the rise in the number of people using the buses over the last few years.
